WAAPT Board members, Cary Hamilton and Sarah Moran are newly published in Cultural Issues in Play Therapy, Second Edition, edited by Eliana Gil and Athena A. Drewes.

The newest edition includes timely topics, such as multicultural and racial attuned approaches to play, working with undocumented families of color and social justice, supporting gender and sexuality, and processing school violence. This edition includes other specialty topics, such as the culture of technology and Hamilton/Moran's chapter on supporting parent-child relationships with hearing-impaired children.

The appendices are full of resources on these topics as well. It is widely available for purchase. In our field, we can never have enough cultural and special population topics to stay up to date on.
