Jessamy Whitsitt, LMFT, RPT
President
Jessamy (she/they) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Registered Play Therapist ™ and a certified AutPlay® Therapist. She provides therapy in Washington State for children, teens, adults and families. Jessamy is also a parent coach and provide consultations to other professionals that work with neurodivergent (ND) and LGBTQIA+ populations. She is an LGBTQIA+ and ND affirming provider. Jessamy's background working with children began when she was a teen herself. She has been a camp counselor, nanny, Montessori teacher, parent educator and foster parent. She is also a proud parent to a teen that is college-bound soon. Jessamy has significant experience working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ children, adoptees, teens and their parents, as well as individual adults. Jessamy believes strongly in the power of play therapy with children.

Madison Dell, LMFT, RPT
Vice President
Madison (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Play Therapist™. She received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Play Therapy Certificate from Antioch University Seattle in 2022. Madison is most passionate about using play to heal and nourish relationships. In her clinical work, she uses an integration of Child-Centered Play Therapy, Child-Parent-Relationship Training, Psycho-education, and Mindfulness Training to strengthen the bonds between children and their families. Madison also has a love for Sandtray Therapy and uses it with couples/partnerships to repair bonds and foster compassion. She is an ND-affirming therapist and strives to be culturally responsive and attuned. In her free time, she enjoys playing outside with friends, teaching yoga, mountain biking, or reading books!

Lisa Burress, MSW, LICSW, RPT
Treasurer
Lisa (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist™. She obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2016. Lisa currently works with clients in a private practice setting. Prior to this, Lisa worked with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings including; child care, afterschool programs, summer camps, foster care programs, juvenile hall, a youth shelter, a school-based mentor program, community mental health, and other community-based programs. She is a firm believer in the power of play in working with kids and families. She is excited to spread awareness to families and other providers, as well as empowering and encouraging providers who experience burnout.

Kimberly Autrey, Ph.D, LMHC, RPT, NCC
Secretary
Kimberly Autrey is a core faculty member in the Counselor Education Department at City University of Seattle. Dr. Autrey obtained her Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in 2021 and her Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2016. She has over a decade of experience working with young children and their families as a child-centered play therapist (CCPT). She has provided clinical supervision to master’s-level students at varying levels of development and mental health professionals seeking certification in CCPT. Dr. Autrey has published several articles on the integration of nature-based treatments with traditional CCPT, the use of Child-Parent Relationship Therapy with preadolescents, and the use of play therapy in K-12 school settings. She is passionate about the power of play therapy and loves sharing its transformative impact with other professionals and clients.

Heather Ramirez, LICSW, RPT, CMHS
Past President
Heather (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist™ and Child Mental Health Specialist. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science and Psychology from Gonzaga University. She continued obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work and minor in Palliative Care from Eastern Washington University. After graduation, she worked for Child Protective Services and at Seattle Children’s Hospital. In 2016, she started providing therapy working with children, youth and families. Heather is passionate about serving those who have experienced abuse, neglect and other forms of trauma throughout their lives. More recently she started working with a lot of Autistic and ADHD children and is Certified AutPlay® Therapy. When she is away from work, she enjoys baking specialized cakes and being active with family and friends!

Megan Stonelake, LPC, LMHC, RPT™
Megan (she/her) s a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist™, and Child Mental Health Specialist. She obtained her Masters of Arts in Counseling from George Fox University in 2009. She has worked with children and families in a variety of settings since then, including residential treatment, intensive community-based treatment, adoption work, and school-based therapy. Megan currently works as a therapist, parent educator, and clinical supervisor in private practice. Megan is passionate about serving neurodivergent children as well as foster and adoptive families. She has seen firsthand the magic of play therapy and how well it integrates with other modalities she frequently uses, including animal-assisted therapy and EMDR. Megan particularly loves using sandtray, AutPlay®, and attachment-based play therapy. Outside of work, she is a wife, mother, and dog fanatic.

Molly Case, MHC Candidate
Molly is currently a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, specializing in child and adolescent therapy. She is completing her internship and seeing clients through a community mental health program in Seattle. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, where her studies focused on child development. After graduation, she worked for three years in Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician. Molly is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma through Play Therapy and is a Certified Trauma Professional. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, bouldering, and spending time with her partner, friends, and cat.

Emmett Stanfield, LICSW
Emmett Stanfield (they/them) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. They received their Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2017. They have over a decade of experience working with queer and trans young people in professional settings, and have specialized in working with queer and trans kids and teens as a therapist for the past five years. Emmett is neurodivergent, and is passionate about working with neurodivergent youth and the power of neurodivergent affirming spaces. They believe that play is the language of children and loves using the magic of play therapy in their work with youth.
